Juan Soto’s name has once again gotten social media all lit up, but mind you, not for his bat this time. After one MLB analyst backed the Mets star as the lone bright spot last month, he’s now catching heat online, and suffice it to say, for all the wrong reasons.
Just days ago, MLB named Soto a finalist for the 2025 National League Silver Slugger Award. And rightfully so, our guy went off this season, hitting 43 bombs, stealing 38 bases, and putting up a .921 OPS, trailing only Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Schwarber among NL hitters.
Then came October 25, his 27th birthday. Juan Soto was seen celebrating at midnight, dancing in a blue tank with a flashy chain, while friends filmed with phone flashlights. The clip went viral instantly, and fans had a lot to say.
