Jammu, October 26: President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Shri Tariq Hameed Karra, in the interest of party functioning, has appointed Former PCC Secretary Shri Ashok Sharma as Working District President for Rajouri District, with immediate effect.

The post of District President Rajouri has fallen vacant due to the elevation of Shri Shabir Ahmed Khan as Chairman Pahari-ST Department.

Shri Sharma will perform his duties/responsibilities as Acting President till the Party places a District President according to the procedure.
