For the third time this season, the Hancock College football team will face a winless squad.
The Bulldogs figure to need to keep traditional rival Santa Barbara out of the win column to have a decent chance to garner a bowl berth for the fourth consecutive year. Hancock (3-4, 2-2) will host the Vaqueros (0-7, 0-4) in a Northern League game Saturday at 2 p.m.
The depleted Bulldogs couldn't deliver last Saturday in another game that figured to be crucial when it came to their prospects for a post-season. Without Drake Missamore, its regular starter at quarterback, and running backs Torrell Harley and Semaj Carmichael, Hancock took a 49-23 loss at Moorpark (3-4, 2-2) in a Northern League game Saturday.
