Cam Newton had enough.
The former Auburn and NFL star joined ESPN’s First Take from Birmingham ahead of the Magic City Classic between Alabama A&M and Alabama State.
Things got contentious between the former Heisman Trophy winner and the Bulldog mascot.
The two schools’ mascots competed in a 40-yard dash.
Newton celebrated the Hornets’ win, then the Alabama A&M mascot, Butch Henry, too exception.
It started with some playful fighting before Newton’s hat got knocked off his head.
Newton then open-hand slapped the mascot in retaliation, but Butch Henry kept coming.
Newton then shoved him, then dropped an F-bomb.
“Stop playing with me!” Newton said before things settled down.
