UFOs, UAPS, whatever you call them now, it seems people across Glasgow could be forgiven for thinking they are seeing them in the sky over the past few nights.

You see, mysterious lights have been appearing to flash and glide amongst the clouds, and while for those living in the west end , the source might be apparent, if you live further out it might seem a bit more enigmatic.

While many will take to social media to ask why, we think we've found the answer - and no, it's not UFOs.

It seems the annual light show spectacle in the city's Botanic Gardens, GlasGLOW , has been testing out some of its new display lights ahead of its opening later this month.
