Peak fall foliage is found all around southern New England for this weekend. Our weather cooperates for some great leaf-peeping opportunities.

Highs today reach the mid 50s with developing clouds by afternoon. Most of the northeast remains dry even with an upper level low spinning to our north. Tonight will be chilly again with patchy frost: lows again the 40s to 30s.

Sunday’s highs hold in the low 50s as clouds return and a spotty shower is possible along the coast. Our mostly dry weather remains for Monday but all eyes then go to the possible coastal storm midweek next week.

The track and timing is still TBD on that storm , but we will see rain and wind. The storm guidance has changed.
