Firefighters were scrambled to a blaze at a commercial premises at a shopping centre in Bury on Saturday afternoon. The building was evacuated and fire crews used hose reels to extinguish the blaze at The Rock.
Pictures from the scene showed fire engines mustered at the rear of a commercial premises from 2.15 pm. There are no reports of serious injuries, although one man was treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation, according to the fire service.
Fire crews remained at the scene this evening as work continues to make the area safe.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) said: "At around 2:15pm this afternoon, firefighters were called to reports of a building fire at the Rock in Bury.
