POTSDAM, N.Y. — UND spent plenty of time in the offensive zone during Friday night's 5-2 loss to Clarkson in Cheel Arena.

At even strength, UND had the puck in the offensive zone for 22 minutes, 40 seconds, its highest total of the season. Clarkson had it in its offensive zone for 14:00.

UND had the puck on its stick for 6:03 of that zone time, Clarkson for 2:32.

But despite that decided edge, high-danger chances were an even 10-10, and Clarkson had a 9-8 edge in slot shots and a 1.85 to 1.62 advantage in even-strength expected goals.

This has been a theme in UND's two losses this season.

The Fighting Hawks also had the puck in the offensive zone at even strength more than Minnesota last Saturday — 18:44 to 14:35.
