Hyderabad, Oct 25 : The suspect injured in the firing by South East DCP Chaitanya Kumar has been identified as Mohammad Omer Ansari , a rowdy sheeter from PS Kalapathar.

He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chaderghat .

Hyderabad Police have launched a full-scale investigation and are collecting and analyzing CCTV footage from various public and private cameras to trace the suspect’s movements before and after the incident near Victoria Ground .
