EGG HARBOR, Wis. (WFRV) - One person was found dead outside of a building at a Door County resort & campground after an air tank exploded on Saturday morning.

Deputies with the Door County Sheriff's Office say that they were notified of an explosion at Harbour Village Resort and Campground around 7:45 a.m. on October 25.

The explosion was reportedly from an air tank within the Egg Harbor resort on State Highway 42.

Deputies arrived to find a storage building partially dismantled by the explosion and a person's body outside the building.

The incident remains under investigation. No additional details were provided.

The Door County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Egg Harbor Fire Department, Egg Harbor Emergency Medical Responders, and Door County Emergency Services.
