Ongoing concrete work leaves Panathur residents frustrated, as delays in reopening stretch commutes from thirty minutes to nearly two hours
A stretch of Panathur Main Road , from the Railway Underpass until the Bhoganahalli Main Road junction, has been identified for concrete roadwork. The Bengaluru Traffic Police had issued a road closure notice for a period of 21 days starting from October 10. However, the work has not yet been completed, and there could be a further delay in reopening the road.
Meanwhile, daily commuters, though patient about the completion, stated that the diversions are adding to their travel time and taking a toll on them.
