The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Mithun Manhas assured the Jammu and Kashmir government on Saturday of full support in developing cricket at all levels in the Union Territory, according to an official spokesman.
This assurance was given during a meeting with Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Youth Services and Sports, Satish Sharma.
Sharma and Manhas engaged in extensive discussions about promoting and developing cricket infrastructure and related activities throughout Jammu and Kashmir, the spokesman said.
During the meeting, the Minister highlighted the Government’s commitment to nurturing sporting talent and strengthening grassroots cricket within the Union Territory.
