OROVILLE, Calif. - The arson trial for Ronnie Stout Jr., accused of starting the Park Fire, has been delayed. Stout's trial was initially scheduled for November 3 but has been postponed.

Prosecutors allege that Stout ignited the destructive fire in Upper Bidwell Park by pushing his burning car into a ravine last summer. He attended a trial readiness conference in court yesterday.

Mike Ramsey, the Butte County District Attorney, said the trial was postponed because both attorneys have conflicting cases for the original date. Stout will return to court next week to set a new trial date.
