One of the teenage boys badly injured in a Chisago City crash from Oct. 25 has been released from the hospital.

Ashton Oseth was released Friday afternoon, but still has a long road ahead, his mother told WCCO. He could face up to 12 months of recovery.

The crash happened late last month and left two teenagers dead, according to police.

The Lakes Area Police Department says dispatchers were notified of a crash just before 2 a.m. near the intersection of Stacy and Ivywood trails in Chisago City.

Two vehicles, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota 4-Runner, were found near that same intersection by first responders.
