Sixty years of life off the pitch captured on camera

If sport often mirrors the best and worst of society, photographer Peter Robinson set out to document it during his sixty-year career.

But away from the glamour of World Cups and Olympic Games, he preferred to focus on what happened off the pitch.

His work is now on display in De Montfort University – in Robinson’s home city of Leicester.
