LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police have arrested a man on Saturday connected to a Thursday homicide.
According to police, 40-year-old Joshua Meyers of Lincoln was released from a hospital and taken to the Lancaster County Jail for the first-degree murder.
Police said 43-year-old Tracy Henman was found dead inside her home in northeast Lincoln Thursday morning. Her family called 911 and reported they had not seen her in a couple of days and became suspicious.
Several Lincoln Police officers responded to the home minutes later and found Henman and Meyers inside.
Assistant Chief Jason Stille said Henman had obvious injuries to her neck and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meyers was taken into custody without incident and transported to the hospital to be evaluated after experiencing
