Houston — An hour had passed since coach J.B. Bickerstaff called practice at the Henry Ford Pistons Performance Center, but as usual, Ron Holland II was one of the last players to leave the gym.

“Let me get another one,” was a demand Holland gave to assistant coach Fred Vinson after every shot from the right-side corner of the 3-point line.

He made a pair of his attempts; however, Holland wasn’t satisfied because those shots clanked the side of the rim before falling in. He didn’t want to end his workout with just any made basket; he desired a perfect swish. On his next attempt, he succeeded.
