TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Seventh Avenue in Tallahassee is set to be resurfaced starting Monday as part of the city’s last phase of a utility improvements project, per the city’s website .
The roadway is expected to be open to traffic with only one lane closed on Seventh Avenue between Centerville Road and Duval Street.
The city says the road resurfacing is expected to be completed by early 2026.
The utility improvements project began in 2023 with improvements on the sanitary sewer on Seventh Avenue and reconstruction of Cherry Street and Colonial Drive to improve the connection to Seventh Avenue.
