TUCSON, Ariz. — A man who allegedly shot into an occupied apartment before robbing a nearby Walmart with a gun was shot by Tucson police on Saturday, according to officials with the Tucson Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting just after 9:30 a.m. near Broadway Boulevard and Camino Seco. Officers on scene were told a man shot into an occupied apartment and then left the scene. No one in the apartment was injured, officials said.
While at that scene, officers got a 911 call about an armed robbery at a nearby Walmart. Officials said the description of the suspect matched that of the shooting suspect.
