An Oakbank home has been updated through a top-to-toe renovation and, with its owners now downsizing, is ready to be loved by someone else.

Jon and Heather Cranna bought the 132 Shillabeer Rd home in 2003, attracted by its idyllic location and enviable vistas.

“We used to live in Hahndorf and loved the Hills, but I’ve always wanted to own a vineyard,” Jon says.

“I’d always bought property with my head and not my heart, but this one I absolutely bought with my heart and not my head, and we’ve had two decades of fantastic times here.

“The vineyard overlooks the Onkaparinga Valley and we’re surrounded by rural properties – some with horses, some with cattle – it’s so beautiful here.”
