GRAND FORKS — By the final horn of UND's matchup Saturday against Indiana State, the announced attendance of more than 10,600 had dwindled to a hardy few hundred Alerus Center fans after nearly three and a half hours of football.

The Fighting Hawks encouraged the early exits by once again putting a game away by halftime.

No. 8 UND led 24-3 at halftime and won its fifth-straight game — all by more than two touchdowns — in routing Indiana State 46-17 behind 300 yards passing and four touchdowns from quarterback Jerry Kaminski.

The Hawks, who won five straight for the first time since 2016, improved to 6-2 and a perfect 4-0 in Missouri Valley Football Conference play.
