Oregon quarterback Dante Moore was hit hard in the face after running the ball for a short gain early in the third quarter of the Ducks ' game against Wisconsin and was tended to by a trainer Oct. 25 at Autzen Stadium.

The redshirt sophomore had to take his helmet off on the field and had a visibly bloodied nose before trainers rushed out and tended to Moore while he was on one knee. Moore later walked off the field with trainers to the Oregon sideline.

Oregon walk-on quarterback Brock Thomas replaced Moore as the starter. Thomas is a Eugene-area redshirt sophomore who played at Sheldon High School.
