Simon Cowell is looking for a new band!

The America’s Got Talent judge has been tapped as a judge for the taping of a potential new series, Who’s In the Band , for ABC, Deadline reports.

Sitting next to him for a proof of concept taping will be his fellow AGT judge Mel B , former The Voice Australia coach Joe Jonas , and famed songwriter/producer Savan Kotecha .

The potential new series is in search for the next One Direction , who Simon famously helped form on The X Factor .

According to casting materials, the series will put a twist on the competition genre, “with singers performing the same song, at the same time, in different colored tubes.”
