Imphal, October 25 2025: Manipur State Shumang Leela Council has mourned the demise of Leimapokpam ongbi Roma.

Shumang Leela Council advisor L Tarpon, lifetime president and Manipur State Kala Akademi Awardee Ph Gunachandra Sharma and Council's Award Committee chairman Ksh Jugindro among others attended a condolence meeting held at the residence of the deceased at Irom Pukhri Mapal, Keishamthong today.

At the meeting, Manipur State Shumang Leela Council lifetime general secretary, Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee Shougrakpam Hemanta said the demise of Roma has left a void that can never be filled, and shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family.

Roma was a member of the Chanura Jatra Cum Drama Association.
