WILLISTON, ND (KXNET) — The Williston Fire Department (WFD) responded to reports of a residential structure fire just after 10:30 p.m. on October 25.

The first truck arrived at 10:44 p.m., and WFD reports smoke was coming from the second story of a two-story single-family home. After making sure all occupants were out of the house, WFD extinguished the fire by 10:55 p.m. Direct damage was limited to an upstairs bedroom. Smoke damage is reported throughout the upstairs of the home.

No one was injured in the fire. WFD says residents cannot return until repairs are made, temporarily displacing two people.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by WFD.
