Alexandria, VA — Saturday, Oct. 25, was the second and final day of the Haunted Library in Del Ray. Sponsored by the Friends of the Duncan Library and the Del Ray Citizens Association, this was the second year for the event, which raises thousands of dollars for the library.

The price was only $10 a person—surely the best bargain in the DMV—and 100 percent of the proceeds went to the library.

And it was, by turns, spooky, campy, or cute—and how you saw it likely depended mostly on age.

Library volunteers had truly transformed the library into, as promised, “a haunted maze of spooky sights and stories and eerie entertainment.”
