Three people died after a crash near Tillsonburg, Ont., Friday, according to provincial police.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said the crash happened at approximately 4 p.m., on Mall Road, between Oxford Road 13 and Middletown Line.

When first responders arrived, they found that an SUV and pickup truck had collided on the roadway.

Both passengers of the SUV were taken to hospital, where police say they were pronounced dead. The SUV’s 75-year-old driver was airlifted to London, where they later died.

According to police, the SUV’s passengers, both from Princeton, were 77 and 60 years old.

The pickup truck’s 27-year-old driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and has since been released from hospital.

OPP have not said where the drivers of either vehicle are
