Weather officials issued a heat advisory for Tuesday and Wednesday as Santa Ana winds are expected to move through Southern California.

The heat advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. Tuesday until 7 p.m. Wednesday in Los Angeles County, the Inland Empire and Orange County, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to be about 10 to 15 degrees higher than normal across the region.

In the Inland Empire, high temperatures Tuesday are expected to be between 92 and 95 degrees with highs Wednesday hovering around the lows 90s, said Sam Zuber, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in San Diego. Overnight, temperatures could drop to between the mid-50s to mid-60s in the Inland Empire.
