Donald Trump is addressing rumors that he could be considering seeking a third term as President when the 2028 election comes around.
The topic has been broadly debated online. The 22nd Amendment of the US Constitution states that someone can not serve as President more than 2 times: “No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.”
However, his supporters seem to want him back, and he has been known to hand out Trump 2028 hats.
Now, the 79-year-old is commenting on it.
