LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Losing a loved one is never easy, and there’s no “right way” to survive the pain. For each person, that struggle is different. But for one Lake Charles woman, it’s and continuing mission she started as her husband battled a deadly disease.
Brian and Cassondra Guilbeau were a young couple who loved life and each other.
Cassondra remembers, “We were married for 11 years. We were together a year or two before getting married. We were friends before that, so throughout that whole process, cystic fibrosis was a part of my life too.”
As well as the life of their daughter, Lilly.
