LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A 19-year-old woman is dead after a shooting in North Las Vegas on Friday night, according to police.

North Las Vegas Police responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of Anspach Street, near Craig Road and Camino Al Norte, around 11:45 p.m. Officers arrived to find the woman unresponsive. Police say the victim died from her injuries despite life-saving measures.

North Las Vegas Police are investigating this as a homicide. They say the suspect involved fled the scene before officers arrived.
