‘Suspicious’ Death Of Man Found Near Golf Course Under Investigation By PSP, DA Says

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man discovered near a golf course over the weekend, authorities announced on Monday, Oct. 27.

Robert Friend, 47, was found on state game lands near Mannitto Golf Course along Bush Road in New Alexandria on Saturday, according to state police.

The circumstances surrounding Friend’s death are considered “suspicious," the DA and state troopers said.

An autopsy was scheduled for Monday, Oct. 27.
