FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — Coffee and Crumbs, a family-run bakery in Freeport, has been delighting the community with its intricate desserts since opening in March.

The bakery, known for its popular cinnamon rolls, has received overwhelming support from the local community, exceeding the owners' expectations.

"It's been great, better than we've ever really expected," said Justin, who is associated with the bakery. "We're just so thankful for all of our family and friends that have helped us out and our employees and just the support we've had from the community."

Amanda, who has a passion for baking, started by taking orders from her home before opening Coffee in Crumbs. "I've always loved baking," she said, describing how she began with a cooler outside her house to take orders.
