As usual, LIV Golf 's offseason has generated several rumors speculating about the league's upcoming recruits. These rumors concern both current LIV members and others supposedly arriving from other tours.

According to some comments on social media, Aldrich Potgieter is among the latter group. These rumors gained momentum during the DP World Tour's Alfred Dunhill Links Championship weekend, when the South African played with his compatriot Louis Oosthuizen, captain of the LIV Golf Stingers GC team.

However, Potgieter appears to have decided to distance himself from these comments. The one-time PGA Tour winner posted a message on social media to mark the end of his PGA Tour season, hinting at his intention to return to the American-based circuit for the upcoming season.
