Star Indian middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer, who was admitted to a hospital in Sydney after suffering an injury while taking a catch in the third India-Australia ODI match at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Saturday (October 25), has been moved out of ICU. According to a fresh report in Cricbuzz on Monday (October 27), the 30-year-old right-handed batter from Mumbai, who is also the vice-captain of India’s ODI side now, is recovering well and has been moved out of the ICU.

“Shreyas Iyer’s health remains delicate but stable. The BCCI has assigned the team doctor to monitor him closely, and the 30-year-old is understood to be recovering well," the report read.

“A few local friends have also been keeping him company, and a family member may fly to Sydney from Mumbai
