President Donald Trump issued a warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin after he publicly boasted about the Kremlin's new "invincible" nuclear missile.

“They know we have a nuclear submarine, the greatest in the world, right off their shore,” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One on Monday ahead of his trip to Japan via the New York Post .

Trump's response came hours after Putin claimed that Russia had an 8,700-mile, 15-hour test flight for its "unique" nuclear-powered missile, which it called the "flying Chernobyl," claiming it was capable of hitting targets in the United States. Putin said the Burevestnik missile was "unlike anything else in the world" while delivering comments to Russian state media on Sunday (October 26).
