As the government shutdown continued with still no end in sight, this week saw back-and-forth exchanges over the status of Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva in the House, a marathon floor speech that ground things to a halt in the Senate and a demolition crew tearing down part of the White House on Pennsylvania Ave.
