Urban Meyer met with senator to get back into college football, host says: ‘I’m the answer’

Urban Meyer’s name is once again being linked to Penn State following James Franklin’s firing earlier this month.

On Friday, longtime New York radio host Craig Carton linked Meyer to Penn State in his podcast after a social media post surfaced with Meyer meeting with Pennsylvania Senator Dave McCormick.

“Unless he’s handicapping Bucknell’s game this week, my gut is he’s talking to Penn State,” Carton, via TikTok . “Which would make complete sense and be totally on brand for Urban Meyer to immediately insert himself into the most attractive college football opening in the land. Like, that is the job to get. So, I would not be surprised if Urban dusts off the old resume and convinces Penn State, ‘I’m the answer.’”
