The Great Bend Fire Department has officially opened ticket sales for its 50/50 raffle and is inviting the public to its third annual Holiday Extravaganza from 6-11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Great Bend Events Center.

Tickets for the 50/50 raffle run $5 per entry and can be purchased now until the Extravaganza by contacting the fire department at 620-793-4145 or emailing sedwards@greatbendks.net. The winner of the 50/50 raffle does not have to be present at the Extravaganza to win. All proceeds benefit the fire department’s social and charity fund which provide scholarships, Christmas presents for those in need, honor flights to veterans and donations to organizations such as Kans 4 Kids.
