The Browns started the bye week off on the wrong foot injury-wise.
Testing confirmed that rookie linebacker Carson Schwesinger did suffer an high ankle sprain on his right ankle in the Browns' 32-13 loss to the New England Patriots, coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed on a Oct. 27 Zoom call. That had been the initial fear, as he had left the locker room in Foxborough, Massachusetts, in a walking boot, but the Browns waited for the MRI results to confirm their fears.
The injury will force the Browns to reconcile with not having Schwesinger for some time even after they come out of the bye this week, but Stefanski said it was something they would see about after the bye. High ankle sprain recoveries are typically in the range of four-to-six
