Scotland's "best beaches to visit in autumn" have been revealed. The top spot went to a renowned bay in Fife that appeared in an iconic film.

On Thursday, October 23, Millets shared a list of the country's best beaches to visit during the autumn season. The experts analysed beaches that are open throughout the year, examining autumn temperatures, rainfall, sunshine hours, and Google review scores.

Coming in at number one on the roundup is West Sands Beach in St Andrews . The Fife beach received an overall score of 8.71 out of 10 from the experts.
