A 41-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including impaired operation and driving with a suspended license, in connection with a fatal weekend crash that left one person dead and six others hospitalized, police said.
The two-vehicle crash at Trafalgar Street and Condor Court occurred around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, and sent three people to hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, and four people with minor injuries, police said. One person was not physically hurt.
Police say that one of those transported with serious, life-threatening injuries, a 22-year-old man, has since died of his injuries in hospital.
It's alleged the accused was impaired at the time of the crash, and had an unsealed container of liquor in his vehicle.
