Two people are facing charges after officers responding to an armed robbery call at a Saskatoon business were hit with bear spray on Sunday evening.

According to police, officers were called to a business on 22nd Street West at around 9 p.m. after an armed robbery.

“A male had entered the business, threatened employees with a gun and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was physically injured,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
