The Woodstock-based non-profit organization, Hearts for Ethiopia, raised $24,020 at its recent A Walk in Their Shoes event.

Ten teams of walkers and individual participants sought donations to support projects in Ethiopia as part of the Oct. 18 fundraiser.

“We’re so thankful for the contributions of so many people in our community, from our volunteers and walkers to our donors and sponsors,” said Shelley Green, founder and leader of Hearts for Ethiopia. “This money will make such a difference in Ethiopia, driving life-changing results through the projects we fund.”
