Halloween in south Louisiana will be as spooky as always — and it might have just scared off the heat.
A week after a cold front brought relief to Louisianans who've dealt with a hotter fall than usual, another cold front coming Tuesday night into Wednesday should bring even cooler weather.
According to the National Weather Service, Monday and Tuesday will be more typical for fall in south Louisiana: highs in the high-70s to low-80s and lows in the mid-50s to low-60s Monday and in the low-to-high-50s Tuesday.
Tuesday night, rains will usher a drop in temperatures around 15 degrees.
Temperatures will cool off Wednesday through Friday:
Wednesday - Highs in the low-to-high 60s and lows in the high-40s to low-50s.
