SALT LAKE CITY — A crash at 2100 S 700 E in Salt Lake City in front of Dee’s Restaurant caused one vehicle to roll onto its hood on Sunday.

Lt. Cardon with the Salt Lake City Police Department said two vehicles were involved in the crash.

“(A) car ran a red light and struck a second car,” Cardon said.

Cardon said everyone affected by the crash was treated at the scene for minor injuries, and traffic had to be routed around the crash as it was cleaned up.

At one point, some lanes were closed as officers waited for tow trucks to help with the clean up.
