The Ulster County Legislature voted on Oct. 21 to approve $3.15 million for seven local housing projects as part of the second cycle of financing through the county's $15 million Housing Action Fund.

"These seven projects represent a diverse and thoughtful mix of housing solutions — from senior housing and supportive units to youth emergency shelter and permanently affordable rentals," said Ulster County Executive Jen Metzger, who made the recommendations to the legislature, "and reflect our commitment to meeting the diverse housing needs of Ulster County residents."
