Indian badminton player PV Sindhu on Monday, Oct 27, announced her withdrawal from all BWF tour events in the 2025 season to focus on recovering from her foot injury.
The shuttler had reportedly sustained the injury before her European leg.
She said that the decision was taken after consulting medical experts including sports orthopaedist Dr Dinshaw Pardiwala.
"After consulting closely with my team and with the guidance of the incredible Dr Pardiwala, we felt it was best for me to withdraw from all remaining BWF Tour events in 2025," Sindhu said in a statement on X (formerly Twitter).
