EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The man that Evansville Police say shot and injured an officer, has a warrant out for his arrest for a second incident.
Officers say 18-year-old Jailani Chew was involved with a shots fired call on September 19.
The call was to the 700 block of East Chandler Avenue, where witnesses say shots were fired in the area.
EPD found several shell casings in the area.

Police say ballistic testing of those casings matched the gun that officers say Chew used to shoot Officer Sam Taylor on September 21.

According to officials, Chew is already in custody and the warrant will be served at the Vanderburgh County jail.
