Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum says that U.S. President Donald Trump has agreed to extend his deadline again for the two countries to reach a deal on trade, security and migration.
The apparent decision stands in contrast with Mr. Trump’s insistence that he is done talking to Canada about a similar deal after Ontario aired an advertisement on U.S. television featuring anti-tariff comments from late former U.S. president Ronald Reagan.
